DNS Lookup

Query A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, SOA, CAA and SRV records for any domain.

This tool has to ask the internet. What you enter is sent to our server, which queries public DNS, registry or certificate data on your behalf. We never log it, store it, or pass it to anyone else — but unlike the browser-only tools, it does leave your device.

About the DNS Lookup

Queries a domain for A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, SOA, CAA and SRV records and shows the answers exactly as the resolver returned them, with their time-to-live values.

When you would use it

  • Confirming that a record you just published is visible.
  • Finding out which mail servers or nameservers a domain uses.
  • Reading a TXT record such as an SPF or verification string in full.

What it does not tell you

This asks our server resolver, which answers from its cache. A record you changed a minute ago may not appear until the previous value expires, and a record that appears here may already have changed at the authoritative source. Use the propagation checker when the question is specifically about timing.
